Higher education has become one of the most competitive industries due to the increasing number of universities around the world. The webometrics currently has a list of the world’s 26368 universities. These universities mostly compete to get the best students, lecturers, resources and researches. In Asia, the competition has been largely spurred by the world university rankings such as QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education. The rankings are deemed to be significant to indicate not only the quality of a university, but also the quality of education in a country.
